Midway Importing To Distribute Banner Pharmacaps' Gelcaps In US

Banner R&D Center will provide an expanded line of offerings for the American Gelcaps family of products

Banner Pharmacaps has signed an agreement with Midway Importing for the exclusive marketing and distribution of its Gelcaps Primero la Familia product line in the US. Banner’s Gelcaps nutritional supplements brand will now be available in Hispanic markets throughout the US.

The initial Gelcaps offering in the US consists of ten dietary supplement softgels; including Cod Liver Oil, Fish Oil, Lecithin, Zinc and Vitamin D3. The Primero la Familia line will also contain two cosmetic products. The company said that amber bottles with the Gelcaps label will be instantly recognizable as a product from 'home' for Mexican-Americans.

Banner will collaborate with Midway in the development of marketing and advertising programs for the Gelcaps Primero La Familia line. The company's R&D Center of Excellence for Nutritional Supplements located in Mexico City will provide an expanded line of offerings for the product.

Midway Importing of Houston is an importer and distributor of Hispanic health and beauty care products in the US, servicing over 30,000 stores, including CVS, Rite-Aid, Sam’s Club, Walgreens and Walmart.

Banner Pharmacaps is a global drug delivery and specialty pharmaceutical company which is developing a proprietary portfolio of gelatin-based products in oral dosage forms. The company’s technology platforms include enteric and controlled release softgels, as well as Soflet Gelcaps.
